The AZCO test strip cutter from AZCO Corp, Fairfield, NJ, enables automatic trimming of diagnostic test sheets into individual strips, reducing waste and tooling costs. Two cutting stations with rotary shear-cut blades divide each diagnostic sheet into 10 cards, and then segment the cards into 50 strips of 6mm each. The completed sheets then stack in an out-feed tray. An optical eye registration sensor allows for ± 0.006-inch accuracy at a rate of 1,000 strips per minute, while the blades ensure clean cuts and long life. Users can access the operation manual via the operator-friendly color touch screen. Remote support is also available regardless of geographic location. For more information, visit AZCO Corp.
