“Boston is a hotbed of cutting-edge science, and a major biotech hub,” said Housman. “As we work toward generating adoption of our oncology treatment decision support offering over the coming months, it’s important that we have a presence in Boston, where many of our current and potential partners and customers are located.”

MolecularHealth uses advanced proprietary information technologies to sift through terabytes of genetic and molecular test findings to provide doctors and patients with faster, more-accurate insights into the role that genes play in the progression and treatment of an individual’s cancer.

“As we get closer to the official launch of our next generation sequencing and TreatmentMAP service offering to oncologists, pathologists, and the biopharma industry, we are continuing to add key personnel and build out our infrastructure,” said MolecularHealth CEO Lloyd Everson, MD. “A physical location in the Boston area was a logical next step for the company, and I look forward to additional growth as we enter the market.”

MolecularHealth recently announced the opening of its US headquarters and clinical lab, co-located in The Woodlands, Tex. Following a number of key new hires to its executive team in Texas, the company expects to fill several additional positions for its Boston office, including a marketing director and health economist.
