Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, Brea, Calif, and Copan Group, Murrieta, Calif, have amended their existing distribution agreement, expanding their relationship into new products and geographic territories.

The amendment allows Beckman Coulter to distribute Copan’s C-Tracer, SynapsePro Mini, MALDI-Trace, and WaspLab laboratory systems. WaspLab is a digital microbiology system featuring front-end robotic specimen processing, smart incubators, and state-of-the-art image acquisition technology, for full lab automation.

The amended agreement grants Beckman Coulter distribution rights in 21 global markets in Europe, North America, South America, and Asia—including, among other territories, Japan and China.
