As the largest yearly gathering of US laboratory medicine professionals, the American Association for Clinical Chemistry’s Annual Scientific Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo offers an important opportunity for introducing breakthrough innovations in clinical testing and patient care to healthcare professionals. This show planner is intended to help attendees quickly find their way around the event’s many activities.

This year’s AACC meeting will take place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, from Sunday, July 31, through Thursday, August 4, with the exhibit hall open Tuesday through Thursday, August 2–4.

The conference at this year’s event features more than 200 educational sessions covering topics ranging from personalized medicine and infectious diseases to point-of-care and laboratory-developed tests.

Returning to the conference for a second year is the opportunity for attendees to concentrate their learning in a featured topic track representing one of eight dynamic areas of laboratory medicine. Each track incorporates several conference sessions that take place over the course of the meeting. Predefined tracks at this year’s conference include cancer, endocrinology, genomics, liquid biopsy/circulating DNA testing, mass spectrometry, point-of-care testing, prenatal testing, and toxicology.

The exhibit hall at this year’s meeting will feature more than 750 companies, many launching products not previously presented elsewhere. This show planner provides a full alphabetical list of all the show exhibitors and their booth numbers, together with enhanced listings for a number of key lab suppliers.

On your way into the hall, take a moment to visit with the staff of Clinical Lab Products at booth C15, directly outside the main entrance to the exhibit hall. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on the topics and technologies featured at the meeting.
