This year’s scientific meeting will offer five plenary sessions, to take place daily from Sunday, July 31, to Thursday, August 4.

John T. McDevitt, PhD, New York University College of Dentistry.

John T. McDevitt, PhD, New York University College of Dentistry.

The July 31 opening session, titled “The Programmable Bio-Nano-Chip: A Platform to Digitize Biology,” will feature John T. McDevitt, PhD, chair of the department of biomaterials and biomimetics at the New York University College of Dentistry. Attendees will learn more about p-BNC technology and its potential to digitize biological signatures for a variety of health conditions. Equipped with multiplexed and multiclass capabilities, the powerful technology has been developed and validated for applications in cancer diagnostics, cardiovascular disease, cell imaging systems, drugs-of-abuse detection, infectious disease, and saliva-based diagnostics.

Other sessions include:

Monday, August 1
“Halving Premature Death”
Presented by Sir Richard Peto, FRS, professor of medical statistics and epidemiology and codirector of the clinical trial service unit at the University of Oxford
