AUDIT MicroControls Inc, Carlsbad, Calif, introduces AUDIT® MicroFD™ Urine Chemistry Control, 2 levels, a new addition to its complete line of daily quality control products.

Urine ChemistryControlIt is intended to simulate human patient samples for the purpose of monitoring the precision of lab testing procedures for urine chemistry assays: amylase, calcium, chloride, creatinine, glucose, magnesium, microalbumin, microprotein, phosphorous, potassium, sodium, urea nitrogen, and uric acid.

The new control has been assayed for the following analyzers: Abbott Architect ci8200, Beckman AU680, Beckman DXC 600, Beckman DXC 800, Roche Cobas 6000, Roche Cobas 8000, Roche P-Modular, Siemens Advia 1800, Siemens Dimension RxL, and Siemens Dimension Xpand Plus.

Each level is packaged as two sets of 5 x 3m. This lyophilized product has a shelf life of 2 years and a reconstituted stability of 6 days for Set 1, and 10 days for Set 2 when stored at 2° to 8°C.

AUDIT MicroControls provides a free online, real-time data reduction program that offers Levy-Jennings charts and peer group analysis for daily quality control product users, as well as linearity graphs and peer group analysis for AUDITOR MicroCV users.  There is also an “Audit® FaxBack™” option returning results in 1 business day.
