This realistic training arm provides a true-to-life way to train in venipuncture and injection techniques including starting IVs and introducing IV catheters.
     An 8-line vascular system allows students to practice venipuncture at all primary and secondary locations. The venous system is set up with one external fluid bag supplying artificial blood to all veins simultaneously.
     The skin actually rolls as the vein is palpated and the characteristic “pop” can be felt as the needle penetrates the vein. Practice of intramuscular and intradermal injection is equally realistic.
     The replaceable vinyl skins and latex veins are available in black or white skin. The injection arm is shipped with 2 quarts of simulated blood, a 12cc syringe, a 3cc syringe, needle, 2 fluid bags, instruction manual and a hard carrying case.
