The countertop Poly-Chem System is an automated, random-access chemistry analyzer with continuous loading and testing.
     Its test menu includes chemistries, cardiac markers, immunoglobulins, rheumatoid and acute phase proteins, diabetes, nutrition, iron transport and storage, TDMs and ISEs.
     Reagent shelf life is 12 to 18 months. Reagents and patient samples are barcoded with auto re-run capabilities. It accommodates 40 reagents on-board with throughput of 450 tests per hour, 180 photometric and 270 ISE tests.
     Wavelengths include 340, 415, 450, 510, 600, 700 and 800. Reagent and sample are pipetted using positive displacement syringes. The first result is in 10 minutes with test results every 27 seconds thereafter.
