D-dimer reagent

For chemistry analyzers

D-dimer is the ultimate degradation product of fibrin found intravascularly during fibrinolysis. Thus, quantitative determination of D-dimer is a useful tool in assessing deep-vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism and disseminated intravascular coagulation, hemorrhages and internal traumas.
This company is introducing its K-assay D-dimer reagent for the quantitative measurement of plasma D-dimer on chemistry analyzers such as Roche/Hitachi, Olympus, Beckman and others.
The liquid ready-to-use assay has a shelf life of one year from the date of its manufacture.
Mouse monoclonal antibodies specific to the N-terminal region of human fragment D found in D-dimer are used in this reagent to have high specificity. Linear range is 0.4 to 16 µg/mL.
