Glucose and lactate

Added to critical care menu

Glucose and lactate have been added to the analyte test menu of the Gem Premier 3000, which features a self-contained, disposable, multi-use cartridge also offering blood gas, electrolytes and hematocrit.
With a sample volume of 15 µL, the reportable ranges for glucose and lactate are 20-500 mg/dL and 0.3-10 mmol/L respectively. Patented sensor technology measures glucose and lactate levels through enzymatic detection methods.
The use-life of the cartridge is three weeks, and it is maintenance free. It is available in 150, 300 and 450 test configurations.
