Lactoferrin ELISA

For fecal leukocytes

The TechLab IBD-Check is an ELISA for the qualitative detection of elevated levels of lactoferrin, a marker for fecal leukocytes and an indicator of intestinal inflammation.
The test can be used as a diagnostic aid to help identify patients with active inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and rule out those with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which is non-inflammatory. While both diseases can present similar clinical symptoms, treatment options for these diseases vary, making accurate diagnosis and essential step toward effective treatment.
