Free beta-hCG

Recently 510(k) cleared

The Active Free beta-hCG ELISA provides a quantitative measurement of free beta-hCG, with no detectable interference by free alpha-hCG, intact-hCG, free subunit and intact FSH, LH and TSH. It is for the early detection and monitoring of pregnancy and pregnancy related disorders.
This free beta-hCG ELISA is a direct assay with no sample dilution required. It specifically detects the free beta subunit of hCG by utilizing antibodies against sterically remote epitopes of the beta subunit of hCGs; in intact hCG molecules, these antibody recognition sites are not available.
The test requires 10 µL of serum, has a standard range of 5-180 mIU/mL and a total turn-around time of 2 hours. This method can be performed either manually or on an open-platfrom microplate assay system.
