The Blood Analysis Portal analyzes blood by the patient’s side in approximately 90 seconds, using as little as 125uL of sample. It delivers results for blood gases, electrolytes, chemistries, hematocrit, and other calculated parameters. It is designed for use with the Philips CMS and V24/V26 monitors in adult, pediatric, and neonatal intensive care; operating room and post-anesthesia, and emergency care settings. The Blood Analysis Portal integrates blood test data with physiologic parameters at the patient’s bedside.
     The Blood Analysis Portal uses disposable cartridges that contain, in miniature, the same technology as laboratory benchtop equipment. It uses IRMA cartridges (BG, CC, H4, and H3), manufactured by Diametrics Medical, Inc.
