Chemistry/special chemistries analyzer

Consolidated instrument performs up to 400 tests per hour

tf09.JPG (13784 bytes)The new Cobas Integra 400 plus system incorporates four measurement technologies: photometry, ion selective electrode (ISE) potentiometry, fluorescence polarization and turbidimetry.
The system offers a menu of more than 140 applications, with on-board capacity for 36 different tests and continuous access to 90 bar-coded samples. Throughput is 400 tests per hour, including ISEs.
For small and medium-sized laboratories, the Cobas Integra 400 plus system provides consolidation of chemistry and special chemistries on a single instrument. For higher-volume hospital and reference laboratories, the system simplifies consolidation of special assays such as whole blood HbA1c, proteins, drugs of abuse, and therapeutic drug monitoring.
The Cobas Integra 400 plus system can be easily integrated with the Cobas Integra 800 system for added backup capacity as well as for assay standardization in satellite laboratories. In addition, Cobas Integra systems can be combined with this company’s immunoassay systems to create a total Serum WorkArea. Features of the Cobas Integra line include automatic detection and removal of aspirated clots, auto-dilution and rerun, and remote diagnostics capabilities.
