Micro-hematocrit centrifuge
Quantitative results displayed in 60 seconds
The HemataSTAT portable microhematocrit centrifuge features a digital built-in tube reader. Up to six samples are centrifuged for 60 seconds. To display results, a tube is positioned on the built-in reader tray and the slider is moved over the tube. The quantitative hematocrit result is then displayed on the LCD panel. HemataSTAT uses standard 75mm plastic or glass capillary tubes. The CLIA-waived system provides accuracy comparable to NCCLS reference method. For increased safety, capillary tubes are held in clear, disposable tube holders. If leakage or a sealant blowout occur, the tube holder with the tube inside may be removed and discarded, with no need to clean out the centrifuge bowl. Other safety features include a locking lid with gasket seal. Separation Technology www.separationtechnology.com Keywords: centrifuge
