The StarTox on-site, qualitative urine screening for drugs of abuse is an FDA registered design maintaining a closed system. The test is initiated by simply turning the dial located in the cap and then reading the results which are clearly visible in the magnified test window in as early as 5 minutes. The test sensitivity cut-offs follow SAMHSA guidelines.
     The test strip is isolated from the urine specimen, which eliminates the risk of cross contamination and the need for a split specimen. The kit contains the DOT standardized components necessary to collect, test and transport a positive specimen: transport bag, absorbent pad, and tamper-proof bottle seal.
