The Sysmex XT-2000i automated hematology analyzer incorporates fluorescent flow cytometry to enhance efficiency in all labs, especially those supporting oncology, dialysis, and pediatric patients.
The XT-2000i processes 80 samples per hour with random access to any of four discrete analysis modes: CBC, CBC plus differential, CBC plus reticulocyte, and CBC plus differential and reticulocyte.
The fluorescent technology of the XT-2000i offers on-board reticulocyte analysis without pretreatment. Reticulocyte analysis, along with immature reticulocyte fraction (IRF), is important in monitoring bone marrow activity.
Fluorescent optical platelet count provides accurate platelet counts in the presence of red blood cell (RBC) fragments and is especially useful in dialysis patients and in monitoring platelet counts during cytokine stimulation and granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) therapy.
The processes and reagents of the XT-2000i are standardized with the XE family of analyzers so patient results obtained from different locations can be compared. Remote diagnostics and online QC are offered.
