Several improvements have been made to the Multiqual chemistry control product. The improvements include the addition of six new analytes, improved Total Bilirubin open-vial stability, and improved Osmolality values.
    The latest analyte additions include Alpha-1-Antitrypsin, CK-MB Isoenzyme for enzymatic methods, Copper, LAP Arylamidase, Pancreatic Amylase and Prostatic Acid Phosphatase. The open-vial stability for Total Bilirubin is now 14 days. The Osmolality value in the low level of Multiqual is now approximately 300 mOsm/kg.
    Liquid Multiqual has a 3-year shelf life and is available in both assayed and unassayed versions, with 3 mL and 10 mL fill sizes, respectively. Both products are available in three separate levels.
