The ATS Nocardia Stain Quality Control Slides were designed to quality control the specially- designed Nocardia stain and stain procedure. Each slide contains a positive control well of Nocardia asterioides and a negative control well of Streptomyces albus, each suspended in simulated digested sputum. The ATS Nocardia / Actinomyces Stain Set contains all reagents necessary to complete the special stain for Nocardia spp. and Actinomyces spp. Each of the stain reagents in the kit is ready-for-use and is packaged in convenient dropper bottles with a shelf life of 12 months.
