The VersaTrek system can process up to 528 samples in a single footprint, for blood, body fluids, mycobacterial detection and susceptibility testing on one platform.
     Any bottle can be loaded in random position. Instrument sensors are able to detect the bottle’s barcode label, which contains both the manufacturer’s information and patient ID, to run the correct algorithm. Versatile software allows custom one-touch programming, and enables the operator to view the status of a test at any time. The Windows based software is legacy compatible with ESP technology.
     Vortrexing agitation enhances oxygenation of the anaerobic media, a design feature intended to reduce overall time to detection.
     Sample volumes may range from as small as 0.10mL up to 10.0mL.
