The Versapure 1000 purifies nucleic acid from small samples of 50-300 µl. The user can select from a variety of input and output formats as well as a range of hydration volumes on a per sample basis. The instrument also provides the flexibility to batch process fewer than 96 samples. In addition to nucleic acid purification, this instrument can be used for daughter plating, reaction set-up and other liquid handling tasks.
     By allowing end-users to process clinical samples on an automated platform, the Versapure 1000 addresses the needs of clinical and clinical research labs in the high growth area of gene based testing for inherited and infectious diseases.
