This company has entered into collaboration with AcroMetrix Corporation to offer clinical laboratories a comprehensive set of proficiency testing (PT) programs for HIV resistance testing and HCV genotyping. These new proficiency programs will help ensure that molecular diagnostic laboratories are providing accurate, reliable results to help physicians customize patient care. The program combines AcroMetrix’ proficiency materials with this company’s DigitalPT informatics system.
     Participation in these programs allows laboratories to satisfy federal quality assurance requirements under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) and the accreditation requirements of the Joint Commission on Health Care Accreditation, the College of American Pathologists, COLA, and other accrediting organizations.
