The MicroTest Multi-Microbe Transport Media is recommended for the transport of viruses, chlamydiae, mycoplasma, and ureaplasma to the clinical laboratory. The formulation is compatible with molecular based diagnostics, traditional culture methods and enzyme immunoassays. In addition, MicroTest transport media allows its user to do back up testing from the same sample used with a molecular probe.
     MicroTest media eliminates the collection of multiple specimens for testing and requires only 3ml of media for multiple tests to be performed on the same sample. Room temperature storage formulations as well as a variety of packaging options from only transport tubes to kits containing female or male collection swabs (or both) are offered.
