This company has introduced its Anticlot-C Protein C test reagent. Anticlot-C is intended for the measurement of Protein C activity in human citrated plasma by means of an end-point clotting based assay. Protein C is an essential component within the coagulation cascade and a deficiency can be directly linked to deep venous thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
     Anticlot-C reagent features reconstituted stability of 48 hours when stored at 2-8º C. This reagent, available in an ergonomic operator-oriented kit configuration for easy storage, also features rapid test turnaround times and is suited for semi-automated and fully automated test procedures. Each kit offers as many as 45 tests and QC materials are included to support the assay.
