ATC refractometer

Features a three scale reading

pn16.jpg (8477 bytes)This company introduces a temperature compensated (ATC) serum protein/urine refractometer, which gives a three scale reading of 0-12 g/100 ml serum protein, 1.000 to 1.050 urine specific gravity, and 1.3330 to 1.3600 refractive index.
The refractometer weighs 8 oz. and is approximately 6 1/2inches long. It can be used to measure urine osmotic pressure, total solids in urine, serum protein and refractive index of fluid proteins.
The unit maintains its calibration with the ATC function built into the unit. If the unit has to be recalibrated or checked for accuracy, the user can place a drop or two of distilled water at 20 degreeC and the scale should read 1.333R.I. If not, the user can turn the adjustment screw until the critical line reads 1.333 R.I.
