This company has launched a range of computer imprintable labeling products specifically for laboratory and hospital applications.
Included are labels for marking tubes, vials, slides, well plates, straws, vial tops, deep well plates and other laboratory and hospital consumables.
These new labels are designed to withstand extreme laboratory conditions without peeling, including steam-autoclaving, boiling water baths, freezer temperature (-196ºC), very high temperatures (+400ºC), organic solvents, caustic agents, long-term storage and other challenges.
The labels can be blank or pre-printed with variable computer generated text, barcodes and other customized symbols. They have been designed for use with customers PCs and laser, dot matrix or thermal printers. They also allow for the inclusion of hand-written text.
This company's product line includes tamper evident labels, self-laminating laboratory labels, label and barcode software, thermal transfer printers and indelible ink ribbons. In self-laminating labels, the printed portion of the label is placed on the vial, tube or slide. Then the clear portion of the label is wrapped around the vial, tube or slide to cover the identified label adding extra protection against chemicals and solvents.
