This company has released homocysteine reagents for use on Synchron CX and LX chemistry analyzers.
     The LX and CX homocysteine method correlates 1:1 with HPLC and fluorescence polarization methods. The test amplifies the homocysteine molecule allowing typical precision of 2 percent and is linear to 50mg/dL.
     These reagents require no pretreatment, are stable on-board for 30 days and have 7-day calibration stability. Each reagent kit contains two liquid ready-to-use 60-test cartridges and two calibrators.
     The CX has a throughput of 225 tests per hour and LX of 450 tests per hour, with time to first result of less than 15 minutes.
     This homogenous Homocysteine method can be run on a wide array of chemistry analyzers.
