The robotic version of Hettich’s model Rotanta 46RSC is a refrigerated centrifuge with PC control and rotor positioning with maximum capacity of four 750ml round bottom containers, 16 microtitre plates or four deep well plates. Performing routine laboratory tasks, the unit is also suited for genetic and pharmaceutical research.
     Safety features include a metal housing and metal lid, a stainless steel centrifuging chamber, lid locking, lid holding, imbalance switch-off, and emergency lid lock release.
