The Persys Interface and Persys-4Medica Transport Module will automatically capture patient data from existing physician information systems for use in this company’s on-line lab test ordering and results reporting applications. As information is updated, changed or added to the physician’s information system, it will automatically be updated to the host system at user-defined intervals. When physicians or staff log in to that system, the correct patient information will already be available for use without the need to re-enter the data. The entire process operates in the background, requiring no physician or staff involvement.
