Remote access and control of the ABL77 and portable POC blood gas analyzer is facilitated by Radiance, a STAT analyzer data management system. In addition to live display of the analyzer status on a Radiance workstation, it is now possible to send a message from Radiance for display on the analyzer, and to initiate a number of activities, such as a 2-point calibration and the locking and unlocking of the analyzer. The replacement status of ABL77 consumables can also be viewed from Radiance.
