The BD ProbeTec™ ET CT/GC Amplified DNA Assay Collection Kit for Endocervical Specimens (ie BDWet Swab Transport System) is used with the BD ProbeTec ET System for testing Chlamydia Trachomatis and Neisseria Gonorrhoeae.
    The BD Wet Swab Transport System consists of a prescored swab, prefilled diluent tube, and a specially designed cap that captures the swab and provides a seal for convenient specimen transport. After the endocervical specimen is collected, the swab is placed in the prefilled diluent tube, which also acts as the processing tube.
