The INSTANT-VIEW® H. pylori test is a lateral-flow immunoassay for the rapid, qualitative detection of IgG antibodies specific to Helicobacter pylori in human serum or whole blood. The bacterium Helicobacter pylori is associated with a variety of gastro-intestinal diseases, including stomach ulcers, chronic active gastritis, and gastric and duodenal adenocarcinoma.
    The H. pylori test is an alternative to standard biopsy and breath testing procedures. The whole blood test is minimally invasive and allows same-day results with a finger stick sample. The test is FDA 510(k)-cleared for professional use and is available in serum cassette, serum dip strip, and whole blood cassette formats.
