Any excess formalin that runs off tissue will be absorbed into these D-Formalizer® pads where it will be neutralized by a bonded chemical. The blue surface of the pads provide a contrast to even small pieces of tissue.
    The pads are also useful for soaking up leakage and deodorizing vapors. In other applications, they can be used to line shelves where specimen containers can seep formaldehyde around the lid, or to line transport bags where leaks might occur, including in courier vehicles. The pads are available in three sizes: 8x10, 11x14, and 14x51 rolls.
