Reagent to Determine Lipoprotein (a)

For use on automated analyzers

productThis new product relies on a two-reagent, liquid stable technology system for the quantitative determination of Lipoprotein (a) in serum. The first reagent contains a buffer, and the second reagent contains an antihuman antibody. A reaction occurs when serum sample, buffer, and antibody are combined and an insoluble aggregate is formed. The increase in turbidity is measured at 340 nm and is directly proportional to the amount of Lipoprotein (a) in the sample. The reagent is offered in a 140 mL kit configuration.
