The V24 is a new centrifuge designed to meet the needs of large-volume labs. It holds up to 24 test tubes at speeds of up to 4,000 rpms. The variable-speed control allows for blood, urine, and other fluids to be spun at CLIA-recommended speeds. An optional digital tachometer (V24-T) measures speed when G-forces are critical.
    The centrifuge comes with 24 tube shields for 10- to 15-mL tubes, and 24 smaller tube shields for 13 x 75-mm tubes. The large locking lid with safety switch opens to a stainless-steel chamber that is easy to clean. A 30-minute timer with bell keeps track of time. The V24 has a 1-year warranty on materials and electric components.
