The Variseal centrifuge is a variable-speed instrument that is available in either a six-tube or eight-tube model. The instrument features an isolated spinning chamber that is separate from the rest of the unit and offers protection from aerosoled contaminates.
    The centrifuge speed range is from 1,000 to 3,200 rpm, making the instrument compatible with both blood and urine processing. A 30-minute variable timer and the speed control are both front-panel mounted. A lid safety switch prevents motor operation when the lid is opened.
    Each of the instrument’s tube carriers will accommodate specimen tube sizes ranging from 2 to 15 mL. The Variseal centrifuge comes standard with a 3-year warranty.
