The Model AR200-Clinical portable clinical digital automatic refractometer is a handheld unit that measures urine specific gravity in the range of 1.000 to 1.080, total serum protein in the range of 0 to 12 g/dL with display values of 0.001 specific gravity, and 0.1 for serum protein. Accuracy is +0.001 for specific gravity and +0.1 for serum protein. It reads refractive index with a range accuracy of +0.0001.
     This portable refractometer uses high-resolution (3,600 cells) and patented, linear-scanned array imaging. Readings are displayed on a direct LCD panel. An IR port allows two-way communications with a personal computer. Software features include one or multipoint calibration (set and span), delay timer, temperature equilibration sensing, and reading/data storage. Alternate scales are available via custom channel programming to meet testing requirements, such as serum protein and urine total solids and other concentrations.
