The ergonomic Z-Cart™ for Laptops is designed to be compact, stable, and maneuverable. It comes with a locking work surface that secures the computer against theft, slippage, and spills while providing a tabletop for documents. The cart’s retractable, full-size keyboard tray includes a bidirectional sliding mouse tray to accommodate right-handed and left-handed users. Other standard features include a built-in mouse holder and a recoil lanyard that keeps a power cord off the floor. While the basic model provides room for a flat lithium battery to be mounted under the laptop, an external battery holder is also available. Another option is an attached wire basket that can hold clipboards, notebooks, binders, etc.
     The Z-Cart for Laptops can be easily adjusted to a user’s height so workers of different heights can share the same cart. By stepping on a bar at the base of the cart, the user can lower or raise the work platform, which locks in place when the bar is released.
     The cart’s five large rubber casters provide quiet, smooth movement but can be locked to give the unit extra stability when stationary. Constructed of high-quality welded steel and aluminum with a powdercoat finish, the Z-Cart for Laptops is shipped fully assembled.
