Sputolysin reagent is used to solubilize sputum samples for microbiological testing. It is a sterile concentrate of Dithiothreitol solution and offered as a concentrated liquid in a pack size of 10x10 mL. Sputolysin reagent, diluted with distilled water, enables rapid and reliable detection of pathogens. It has a shelf life of 2 years and can be stored at room temperature.
