Drug of Abuse Test
Detects oxycodone in urine
This Oxycodone drug of abuse test recently received 510(k) clearance. It is a chromatographic immunoassay that provides a qualitative result for the presence of Oxycodone in urine. Oxycodone, a narcotic analgesic used therapeutically for the management of chronic and long-lasting pain, is increasingly being abused and can be highly addictive. The test is available as single tests in Monitect® cassette and Fastect II dipstick, or in combination with multiple drugs, including the QuickTox dipcard. The user-friendly Monitect cassette requires only three drops of urine to perform the test. For the Fastect and QuickTox, time to result is rapid. Once the control band forms in 5 minutes or less, results are ready to interpret and are stable for up to 1 hour. Branan Medical Corporation www.CLPmag.com
