ProtoGel Precast Gels are run using standard Tris-Glycine-SDS tank buffer. Other buffers are not needed to perform eletrophoresis. ProtoGel Precast Gels, available in a variety of fixed percentage and gradient formats, do not contain SDS so they can be used for both native and denaturing applications. They are compatible with nearly all types of minigel apparatus.
