This latest version release of SoftPath provides new features and functionality such as Manager’s Dashboard navigation and a My Workspace feature; expanded integration of web software; and an optional Image Management Module for maintaining image archives.
    The Manager’s Dashboard permits the supervisor to assign and delegate work from a single environment. The My Workspace feature allows the user to access assignments that are deposited into color-coded icon buckets. SoftWeb software provides remote order entry and result reporting for physicians.
    Other new features include the fully integrated Microsoft Word Synoptic Reports, which allow unlimited formats, importing of lab results, and graphic images for enhanced appearance and detail. SoftPath provides tools to streamline regulatory review processes of CLIA, CAP, and ASCP with statistical analysis and comprehensive QA reporting. Also, the new system notification window alerts the user each time something new is assigned to them, and the auto-assigned distribution process allows for the setting up of criteria for auto-assigning each case. The software allows many definable parameters and settings, including a custom registration set-up screen, giving the user numerous options for moving the work around.
    The Image Management Module option enhances the pathology software with visual imaging capabilities. The option provides the tools to utilize and archive slides, FISH, flow cytometry, and other digital images.
