The Model SS-200-WSL Winged Sentry provides dust and vapor control in laboratories where personnel may be exposed to chemical fumes, powders, or other materials during operations. The unit uses suction from the rear so that contaminants are kept low and away from the operator’s breathing zone. A variety of replaceable filters are available, including HEPA, Ashrae, Carbon, and Pre-Filters.
    To accommodate a customized enclosure, or to conserve work space, the unit’s wing flaps can be moved in or out to a variety of positions. They can also be fully unfolded to create a larger work area. The Winged Sentry features quiet operation and provides 100 CFM of air volume. Other larger models of the fan unit are offered so that a change in work space or operations can be easily accommodated with only the addition of a more powerful fan/filter unit.
     The portable unit weighs only 12 lbs and offers an optional 1/8-in clear acrylic hinged lid, modular construction, and a sturdy steel cabinet. The containment hoods are offered with a limited 1-year warranty from date of shipment on defects in materials or workmanship.
