Two different 96-well EIA plates containing rickettsia rickettsii antigen can be used for detecting antibodies; one detects IgG class antibodies and the other detects IgM class antibodies. EIA plates containing R. typhi antigen are also available for detecting IgG or IgM class antibodies.

In addition, EIA plates containing chlamydia pneumoniae antigen are offered for use in detecting IgG, IgM, and IgA class antibodies. Chlamydia trachomatis antigens are also available and can be used for detecting IgG and IgM class antibodies.
