Scienceware® 10 and 20 L autoclavable carboys are used as storage and mixing containers. Their rugged polypropylene construction provides chemical resistance and makes them useful for storing sterile solutions.
     The carboys are available with or without a polypropylene spigot. The drip-free spigots are operated with one hand and are attached securely to the carboys via a molded-in bung. The top closure is an 83 mm buttress screw cap that has a built-in silicone gasket for a positive seal. Large handles assist when pouring. Scienceware carboys are steam autoclavable at 121o C (250o F).
