 This 10-minute, one-step test is used to aid in the diagnosis of E. coli 0157:H7 infection. ImmunoCard STAT!® E. coli 0157 Plus can be used to test directly from stool specimens or as a confirmatory test utilizing stool cultures grown in MacConkey broth or sorbitol MacConkey (SMAC) plates.
