d04a.JPG (12101 bytes)CRP, the marker of acute-phase response, increases rapidly after tissue injury, infection, or other inflammatory procedures. The protein generates patient results within the hour and requires a sample volume of only 10µ1. Calibrated to the World Health Organization International Reference Reagent for CRP, this highly specific two-site ELISA offers reliable results across a range of 10 to 500 ng/mL, with a sensitivity rate of 1.6 ng/mL. The CRP ELISA may be performed manually or fully automated on open-platform microplate systems.
