Buffer
Facilitates biopsy analysis
The PolyTransport Buffer is a formulated transport medium used to preserve biopsy specimens for as long as 2 days for transportation and subsequent analysis. The buffers provide an optimal environment for tissue microstructure preservation prior to histological processing. It ensures that biopsy specimens maintain their osmolarity and pH for 24 to 48 hours until they are processed for analysis. Specimens preserved in the PolyTransport buffer can be processed more quickly and easily because they dont need to be washed prior to processing. Additionally, biopsies in PolyTransport buffers are compatible with frozen-tissue procedures and processing for light and electron microscopy. Polysciences Inc (800) 523-2575; www.polysciences.com
