The Para-Pak® EcoFix® Ultra is designed for the collection, preservation, and examination of stool specimens for intestinal parasites. Direct examination, concentration, and permanent stain may be performed from the EcoFix preserved specimen. The fixative helps minimize the adverse effects of delay in specimen transport.
     ParaPak EcoFix is a nonmercury and nonformalin-based fixative. The one-vial system is designed for concentration and permanent stain procedures and enables the recovery of eggs and cysts in the concentration procedure.
