With adjustable speeds ranging from 1,000 to 3,250 RPM, the Variseal centrifuge is capable of performing blood separation, urine separation, and sperm-cell washing. The device features a brushless, permanently lubricated motor and an Aero-Lok barrier that maintains a separation between the spinning chamber and the outside atmosphere.
     The Variseal can accommodate specimen tubes of 2 mL to 15 mL and is available in six- or eight-tube versions. The device also features a lid safety switch that cancels power to the instrument when the lid is lifted.
